If there's no-one at home when we deliver, in most cases we can leave items with a neighbour or in a safe place.

Ground bar kits give extra rigidity to the bottom of the marquee. They consist of a set of interconnecting poles creating a robust frame for the bottom of the tent. The poles are made from 38mm powder coated steel tubes.

We recommend you use a ground bar kit whenever the tent is free standing - e.g. on concrete, and also in windy / exposed locations where extra strength in the framework is desirable.

Please choose the correct kit for your tent.

Please note: Our marquee ground bar kits are only suitable for our Standard and Luxury Marquees.

Which fixings do I need?

Grass

If you are putting your marquee on grass, as a minimum you need a set of four corner ropes with pegs. We also recommend (particularly on marquees of 6m width, but also on smaller models) our tie down kit consisting of tensioned straps and heavy duty tent pegs. These straps should be put along the sides of the marquee, at intervals of 2m.

You can also purchase the ground bar kit to give extra rigidity to the bottom of marquee.

Concrete

The marquee can free stand on concrete as long as you purchase a ground bar kit to give a rigidframe throughout.

If possible, use ropes at the corners to secure the marquee as well.
