MetalCorten Steel

This water feature starts off looking like any other steel feature. However, after just a few days of use, it will develop a rust-like surface that also has a protective layer. This layer protects against further corrosion, and it is completely unique, so no two features are the same. Complete with a pump, you will be able to get this feature up and running in no time. It is entirely self contained, so all you need to do is add water.

With an integrated planter, this versatile feature is great for bringing some life and colour to patios and decking and can even be used indoors. The added LED light strip to the cascade makes this feature beautiful by day and stunning by night, illuminating the flow of water into the reservoir.

  • Corten steel – forms a stable, self-protecting rust that requires no painting or maintenance, for a fashionable aesthetic which doesn’t compromise structural strength
  • Cascading blade - emits a pleasing sheet of water
  • Upper planting section - plant some plants or herbs
  • White LED light - built into the cascade, illuminates the feature
  • Suitable for outdoor use
  • 73 watt pump - no need to purchase a pump
  • Self contained - no need for a continuous water supply

Corten Steel - Rust Surface with Protective Layer

Corten is a type of steel that naturally weathers and develops a layer of attractive rust with a protective layer. It is really a paradox, as although it is rusted, to a degree, the surface actually has a layer that protects against further corrosion. In other words, the steel is allowed to rust in order to form the protective coating. This protective layer develops due to the elements that are active in the alloys of the steel. It regenerates continuously when subjected to the influence of water and oxygen.

Upper Planting Section

A generous upper section allows you to plant flowers or greenery of your choice. This will help integrate the feature into the surroundings of your garden or patio. The upper section of this waterfall is a cleverly integrated planter stand, add your own plant pot, it's perfect for adding a splash of colour to the feature. The generously sized section gives you plenty of room to plant the flowers or greenery of your choice. This feature can make a practical addition to your garden when planted with herbs and other kitchen essentials or can be filled with pretty border flowers to really brighten up your home or garden. Why not try planting it with trailing plants to complement the cascade below?

Cascading Blade with White LED Light Strip

This striking water feature boasts a modern cascade blade that really enhances the streamlined appearance of this feature. Cascade blades are an innovative alternative to traditional waterfalls that produce a single flat sheet of water, perfect for contemporary gardens. There is also an LED light strip that will create a striking spectacle at night.

Rusting Process

The image on the left illustrates how the planter will arrive. After a few days or so, the protective rust surface will have developed naturally. If you wish, you can speed up the process by using a cloth and rubbing the surface with salt and/or vinegar.

"The construction is very flimsy, all edges are sharp so much so that I nearly cut my hand carrying them. You can also see the welding spots on the smaller feature which looks cheap. Also it doesn't seem to rust"

"Quite easy to set up, but what I didn’t realise was there were no plugs yet I needed 2 The design is floored the second smaller box is tacked not welded, so if the wind picks up you loose water and because of the orange substance staining the unit the ground surrounding gets stained, forever filling it up, have now silicone sealed where the weld should be, really bad purchase"

"The first pump received was too powerful which caused the tank to empty after three hours running. Eventually had a whole new unit shipped as replacement but this took approx 10 emails and a video showing the problem before action taken. I only needed a pump but they shipped a whole new unit. The quality of the pump and LED light is very poor considering the price tag. Probably worth £100-£150 less than the selling price."

"Is ok. Not brilliantly made, doesn't seem high quality- feels a bit flimsy- but works as advertised."
