"The metal cover had deep gauges with missing paint in places and covered in scratches. Was obviously a "seconds" item and not in pristine condition as one would expect. The local garden centre had no stock left hence the on-line purchase. I covered all the gauges and scratches with nail varnish and hope that will make it last as I didn't wish to return item and ask for a replacement."

"Looks good and easy to clean. Previous similar items from Gardman rusted badly and one clever persistant squirrel managed to get the top off. Top now wired on. However this type of feeder is the best I have tried, I now have 5."
