Hebes bring vibrant colours to your garden all year round, with its evergreen foliage and its bright flowers. A bushy shrub, it's well-suited to a container or in your borders bringing colour into your garden. The white-throated violet-blue flowers that adorn 'Youngii' make for a beautiful display in any border or pot. Plant in a sunny spot with well draining soil to keep these shrubs happy.

Plant in fast-draining soil, where they can receive lots of sun. Water regularly as they establish, being careful to make sure their soil drains properly as they will not thrive in damp conditions. Once established water once a week, unless it's summer when you can water them more frequently. The only pruning required is deadheading to prompt more flowering. Over winter, move any container-grown Hebe to more sheltered positions to reduce their exposure to lower temperatures.
