Hedge Screening

Hedge screening are often fast growing evergreens such as cypress and yew, which are perfect for blocking out noise and pollution. However, there are deciduous species that can be used. Formally evergreen, beech produces washes of brown and copper and retains its leaves right until they pushed off by new ones come spring. More ornamental species include the evergreen photinia and broadleaf. While not reaching the great heights of the aforementioned species, they provide fantastic colour with bright red leaves and glossy foliage respectively.
