This attractive wooden planter and glass cloche combination is perfect for growing salad crops and herbs all year round. The 2-tier sustainably sourced tanalised wooden base can be placed anywhere in the garden; it can be positioned on the patio or for growing fresh cooking herbs outside the kitchen door. The cloche is made with study aluminium framework and glazed with toughened safety glass that can withstand even high winds. The removable top glass panels allow watering and cropping, and during the summer these panels can be left out to allow rain to enter while creating a sun trap. There is a slight gap between the side panels and the roof to allow gentle convection ventilation all year round. The base and cloche can be used separately to allow greater versatility.
