There are some who call this a Jade plant, there are others who call it a money tree and there are those who call it a friendship plant, but whichever name you decide to use, there’s no doubt that this is a great houseplant. Easy to grow and with plenty of interest thanks to its fleshy foliage this succulent is ideal for anyone new to keeping houseplants.
A sunny windowsill is ideal for succulents to thrive as they adore their time in the sun. If you focus on getting the watering right you’ll be rewarded with a beautiful plant. In spring you’ll want to water your succulent once a week, allowing time for the soil to dry out completely. Be sure to always water from below by soaking the pot and leaving all the water to drain away before returning to a display pot. Never water the leaves as this can lead them to rotting which will ruin the lovely distinctive foliage.
