One of the most important founding figures in Western philosophy, Aristotle (384-322 BC) was a student of Plato and teacher of Alexander the Great. These statues are made using cast limestone with a surface texture similar to that of portland stone. In a number of important ways it is markedly superior, one of its greatest advantages being price, which, piece for piece, is normally significantly less than that of quarried stone. As well as for use in gardens, lawn, terraces, courtyards, borders and woodland, this statue can also be used in interior design schemes, in a hall, library, stairway or reception room.
