The ‘Margaret Merril’ is a small shrub of erect growth with clusters of fragrant flowers and dark green matte foliage.
From July until September it blooms and produces beautiful, delicate, pale pink to white double flowers with pronounced golden stamens. This variety makes particularly excellent cut flowers.
A vigorous grower, this hardy rose is happy in any aspect, except north facing, and will thrive in the full sun on either a sheltered or exposed site in moist well-drained soil.
These roses are in a dormant state ready for immediate planting. The roots have been dipped in a water retaining gel and are enclosed in a plastic bag to keep them moist. The shoots have been cut back to prevent your rose plant rocking in the wind after planting. A further pruning will be required in early spring. Each plant comes with full planting and care instructions.
