PestBye® Mole Claw Trap

The Mole Claw Trap is a poison free, fast and effective mole control mechanism for the protection of lawns and gardens. The trap is double ended for maximum efficiency and a strong spring action. It is suitable for all weathers.

Claw traps (also known as scissor traps) are the most common form of mole traps sold in the UK. They are easy to set simply by squeezing the handles and it is possible to see from a distance if the trap has been sprung.

Please Note: This is a catch and kill trap. For humane mole deterrents please see our alternative products below.

Features

  • Easy to set - simply squeeze the handles
  • Easier to maintain as you can if its been sprung from a distance
  • The metal frame makes this trap sturdy but it is still simple to use

No Human Contact Guarantee

Unlike others on the market, the PestBye Mole Traps arrive in a plastic bag, the contents of which have never been touched by human skin. Moles can be deterred by the human scent, and so at PestBye we aim to manufacture traps that have never been in contact with humans. Throughout the manufacture gloves are worn to prevent contact with the trap. Following manufacture gloved hands pack the traps into these plastic bags, the very same of which you will receive your order in. This means that throughout the entire process of packing, despatching and delivery, no human contact is made. If you wear gloves whilst unpacking and setting the trap, there should be no adverse effects and this mole trap will hopefully prove to be successful. This is the PestBye No Human Contact guarantee.

We recommend the use of plastic gloves for that added layer of hygiene whilst cleaning and resetting traps. A hand trowel will be ideal for digging the trap into place.

"The only slight problem was engaging the setting pin The details on the Primrose document that came with the trap, does not clearly define how to place the setting spring into the trip plate and although the online details of the trap can be viewed closely, this view is not available. Maybe a different view of the trap, set and showing the setting spring sitting on the trip plate would solve this. Excellent details of how to handle the product using gloves (which again were purchased at a reasonable price)"
