Morello Cherry Trees

The best cooking cherry, Morello's distinctive flavour is great addition to many culinary delights whether it be pies, crumbles, jams and preserves, or for the more adventurous, liqueurs, beers and chocolate.

Although, not usually eaten fresh, they can be when very ripe, perhaps best served on your breakfast or part of a salad. The fruit is high in melatonin, which plays an important role in regulating sleep.

Excellent pollinators, Morello works well as part of a cherry orchard, and can be placed in the worst position due to its adaptability.

Like other fruiting cherries it’s flowers is white, and very attractive with large blooms of single-flowers.
