DELIVERY INFORMATION - PLEASE READ BEFORE ORDERING
You will be contacted about your order to arrange delivery. Deliveries take place between 0800 – 1800hrs by an 18-tonne rigid vehicle with a tail-lift. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a more accurate ETA. Whilst we do not expect you to wait in all day for delivery you must be available at the end of the phone to authorise a driver to leave goods in your absence. If you choose not to be present when delivery is made, we accept no responsibility for where the goods are left.
Due to the nature of bulky deliveries, it is not possible to give a time slot as some drops can take over an hour to unload. We would respectfully request that if you have not heard from the delivery company by 1600hrs on the day of delivery to kindly call the office.
Please ensure there is an adequate place for the vehicle to unload using a tail-lift and manually operated pump trolley. This trolley will not travel over grass, gravel or slopes. Therefore, you will require a level tarmac, concrete or block paved area to unload on. The delivery vehicle does NOT have a crane and cannot lift over fences and hedges or deposit the bags on gravelled, grassed or sloping areas under ANY circumstances. Please do not hire labour or machinery until you have received your order as we take no responsibility for any costs incurred.
ANY ORDERS THAT CANNOT BE DELIVERED DUE TO THE DELIVERY POINT BEING UNSUITABLE WILL INCUR A £70.00 + VAT PER BAG/PALLET RETURN CHARGE.
