Tap the top of the egg with the back of a spoon to crack it open. Be sure to only make as big an opening as needed to add water to the soil and seeds (soil and seeds already mixed inside the egg).
Use a tray or pot (or exceptionally large eggcup, should you have one handy) to hold the egg. Add water until the liquid trickles out of the bottom of the egg and onto the tray. Water once a day to keep the soil moisturised (excessive water will weaken the plant).
Do not leave the egg in direct sunlight. The product is best placed in bright spots with indirect sunlight. This stops the soil drying out and protects delicate seedlings from withering.
Once your plants are filling the egg, you can move it to a bigger pot with good soil. Simply crack open the egg and plant directly into the soil of your plant's new home. Fertilize every 3 weeks to keep your plants happy and thriving.
