Buxus microphylla 'Faulkner'

Buxus microphylla 'Faulkner' is superficially similar to Buxus 'sempervirens' but its smaller and denser growth habit makes it more suitable for topiary shapes. It also has better disease resistance including resistance against box blight a fungal disease that causes leaves to turn brown and fall off and which causes dieback on young stems. It has the benefit of excellent autumnal colour with the foliage turning a gorgeous russet colour.

Highly Versatile Plant

The classic evergreen topiary box ball is perfect for adding an ornate touch to your garden. They work perfectly in either containers or borders and are a great addition to any door way or path.
