Robin Seed and Insect Mix

Bring the nation’s favourite bird into your garden. The familiar colourful red breast of the Robin will help to brighten up your garden. With a mix containing mealworms, the Robin’s favourite food, you are sure to see one in your garden. This seed mix is enriched with Calvita.

How to use: To feed on bird tables cut the bag along the line indicated and scatter the seed mix across the table. For ground feeding lightly scatter the seed mix onto a ground feeding tray.

Inside the bird food there is a supplement which is unique to Peckish, CalVita. The main purpose of CalVita is to provide wild birds with all the necessary minerals and vitamins they need to stay healthy. The calcium inside aids the growth of bones and feathers, and helps boost egg production. Vitamins such as A, D, E and Biotin are all present, encouraging the growth and development of the birds’ beaks and bones. Finally, the supplement contains Carotenoids which protects them from the sunlight and retains and develops their feather colour.

Proper Storage

  • It contains nuts
  • Keep packaging away from children to avoid suffocation
  • Store in a cool dry place
  • Not suitable for human consumption
  • Best used within 3 months of opening.

You can use the Robin Seed & Insect mix, with any of these amazing feeders:

Will attract the following birds

Blackbird, Robin, Chaffinch, Dunnock, House Sparrow, Song Thrush

Where to site

Site your feeder 2 metres from cover to make the feeder visible, whilst providing a safe place to retreat. Put out food at the start of the day to ensure that birds can replace the energy they have lost overnight.
