Ideal for disguising existing fencing or walls, this reed screening is perfect for bringing back a touch of rusticity to your garden. This robust yet eco-friendly screening has been hand made from natural materials to give it a truly organic feel. This versatile screening has a number of uses around the garden and is not only great for disguising a fence, but can also be used to create a privacy screen or to block the view of compost heaps and bins. It can also be used over arbours and pergolas to create soft, natural shade.
Looking for screening with larger, more uniform canes with a tigther weave and smaller gaps, why not take a look at the bamboo reed equivalent below?
Each roll of screening is made of individual vertical reeds (each vertical is a complete reed - there are no breaks). The average width of each reed is 5mm, varying from 3mm to 6mm. The reeds are tied together with horizontal wires positioned 10cm apart.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a natural product and there will be variations from roll to roll and cane to cane. We cannot guarantee each roll or cane are identical as colour, width and length will vary. For example, the width/thickness of each cane in the same roll will vary between 3mm and 6mm. The average width is approx 5mm.
Thanks to Mr D for this photo of the reed screening used on the underside of his roof.
