How Your Order Will Arrive

About your plant - Our reliable nurseries have a real passion for plants. Their extensive range and reputation are key to the foundations of the business. Our expert nursery has spent decades perfecting the art of watering, feeding, and pruning perennials, and will do so until hours before they are packed.

Packaging- Please note that perennials die back to soil level in winter. If ordered during the colder months they might not experience the best growth. However, provided they are cared for accordingly they will grow back in the spring. Your perennials will be expertly packaged into a specially designed, extra thick cardboard box, which will hold it securely in place. Your plant will then be delivered via a delicate courier network to prevent any chance of damage in transit.

Penstemon thrive in moist, well-drained soil with access to full sun. As they are short-lived perennials, they suffer during winter so make sure to take cuttings to prevent loss. Ensure to plant during the spring so it can establish before winter. Staking is recommended if planted in a windy location to avoid damage. Provide a thick layer of mulch around the base of the plant at least once a year and feed it weekly during summer.

Please note: Herbaceous perennials can die back in winter, so don't be alarmed if this happens and instead look forward to spring!
