How Your Order Will Arrive

About your plant - Our reliable nurseries have a real passion for plants. Their extensive range and reputation are key to the foundations of the business. Our expert nursery has spent decades perfecting the art of watering, feeding shrubs and will do so until hours before they are packed.

Packaging- Your shrub will be expertly packaged into a specially designed, extra thick cardboard box, which will hold it securely in place. Your plant will then be delivered via a delicate courier network to prevent any chance of damage in transit.

All of our shrubs are very easy to grow (unless specified). Below, we address some common queries surrounding your shrub's care.

Most shrubs tolerate full sun or partial shade. We advise that you apply mulch when planting, as this will help retain moisture in the soil. Soil Types: It is important to avoid waterlogged soils, which will starve a plant's roots of oxygen, risking plant death. Hardiness: This species will remain hardy throughout most parts of the UK.

The key is to regularly water newly-planted plants, at least bimonthly for two months. It is also important to ensure adequate spacing between bushes, which is determined by a shrub's eventual height and spread.and with containerised plants, you should drench their rootball.

You should free any spiralized roots that are growing around the rootball's circumference. When planting, it is better to have their pot sitting no less than an inch below the ground.

Dig a hole twice the radius of the rootball, and fill the hole with a mix of compost and garden soil. After this, add fertiliser and mycorrhizal fungi. After providing a generous watering, you can finish with a later of mulch, but keep it from touching your plant's stems. Apply fertiliser and replace decomposed mulch come spring. Collect fallen leaves in autumn.
