Commonly known as Chinese evergreens, despite their often pinky-red colouring, Aglaonema plants are perfect for a bit of drought-resistant houseplant interest. Keep it out of direct light to stop those precious leaves getting scorched, and only water it as often as it needs. You're allowed to let the soil dry out a bit with an Aglaonema!
