With their nutritious, bright red berries relished by many, cranberries certainly make excellent fruiting plants! They appreciate damp, acidic soils, so we suggest growing them in pots, or making a special bed in your garden that is lined with perforated plastic. Another feature of cranberry plants is that they are evergreen (offering fine autumn colour!), and come summer will bear intricate pink flowers.
