Kiwi Plants
Kiwi Plants
Originating from China, Kiwi plants were initially named the Chinese Gooseberry, in 1959 (after they became commercially available in New Zealand) they were renamed as the Kiwi plant. This was because they resembled New Zealand's national bird which has brown, fussy fur! Although they demand a little more space to grow, Kiwi plants will bring a number of qualities to your garden. These include their white, bowl-shaped blooms, pretty heart-shaped leaves, and of course their deliciously zingy fruits.
