Pond Vacuum Special Offer
This clever invention attaches to your garden hose. The water pressure creates a vacuum Venturi Effect which sucks up any dirt and debris, collecting in a re-useable bag allowing the clean water to pass through.

This pond debris makes a useful garden fertiliser. The brush attachment has special rollers which glide easily over the pond bottom, gently removing the dirt whilst protecting pondlife and fish. Complete with a lightweight telescopic aluminium handle to easily reach into the largest ponds. Water from the tap will go into the pond. You will need a reasonable amount of water pressure - for example sufficient to use a lawn sprinkler. The pond must be at least 1 ft deep.

Product Specification:

"At the offer price of £16 it represents fair value but is not worth paying more. It works fairly well but is not man enough for a very dirty pond. It is should be suitable for regular use on a small pond but to do a thorough clean will take time. The net bag supplied to catch the debris is effective but as should be expected, is messy to clean. Be careful to inspect it immediately after use for small animals such as newts, which appear unharmed by the machine, so that they can be returned to the pond. "

"it works, after a fashion, but is not as effective at picking up debris as I hoped. Part of the problem may be that the vacuum clear-type head is not so good at getting into corners on the pond bottom"
