Quickly and easily prepare the ground for fence posts and other support poles with this sturdy garden auger. This handy tool features an auger screw, making it great for breaking through tough or difficult ground. With practical handles, this tool is perfect for creating perfect holes in your garden without manually digging on your hands and knees or the need for a mechanical auger.
Make light work of your garden construction projects with this hand-operated auger. Gripping the handles of the auger, place the tip of the point in the ground where you want the centre of the hole to be. Press down into the ground and rotate the auger using the handles in a clockwise direction. When the hole is to the desired depth, simply pull the auger from the ground, removing the soil with it.
"So easy to drill the post hole made the installation of the fence post very easy. The auger is well made and very strong should give a lifetime of service."

"Having struggled to make the holes for another fence I was delighted to find this auger. Much better system that others I had seen advertised and created the holes very quickly to put up my new screen. Slight drawback is if you need to have post right next to a wall as you have no room to turn the very wide handle but I just went in at an angle and that loosened the earth enough to remove with small spade. Did the rest fine."
