Installation

  • Drive the stake firmly into the ground before or alongside the tree, taking care to avoid damaging the root ball. Secure the tree using the supplied super soft rubber tree tie, ensuring there is enough room for slight movement while preventing the trunk from rubbing against the stake. Apply the Empathy Rootgrow™ and Empathy Biofertiliser as directed on the packaging during planting.
  • Check the tie regularly and adjust as the tree grows. Once the tree is well-established, typically after two to three years, remove the stake and tie to allow for natural development.

Material details

The stake is manufactured from pressure-treated timber to help resist rot and prolong its outdoor lifespan. The included super soft rubber tree tie is flexible and weather-resistant, providing secure support without rubbing or cutting into the trunk as the tree grows.

The kit also includes Empathy Rootgrow, which helps roots establish more quickly, and Empathy Biofertiliser, which provides essential nutrients to encourage healthy growth. For best results, always follow the application instructions provided on each packet.
