Reed Screening

What's the difference between the types of reed screening?

Standard reed screening is made from canes which vary in thickness between 3-6mm, with the average on each roll 5mm.

Thick reed screening looks more like bamboo because it's made from wider canes. They vary between 8-10mm, with an average width of 9mm.

Artificial reed screening is made from plastic so will stay looking bright and fresh with no maintenance.

Why peeled reed screening?

All our natural reed screening is made from peeled canes, unlike a lot of competitors. This gives a cleaner, more uniform finish with no dirty outer layers. It also saves on the need to sweep up around the screening, as the outer layers fall off over time.

I have ordered these products before from Primrose for another part of the garden, they are excellent, so no hesitation ordering the same again. They arrived promptly, undamaged and are as good as the previous delivery. I'm very pleased - highly recommended!
