Round Corten Steel Watertable Fountain - D1.2m x Depth 0.4m

This Corten Steel Water Table is a sleek, eye-catching addition to any outdoor space, and great for giving a serene and calming feel to your garden.

Corten Steel is extremely durable and has a far higher resistance to atmospheric corrosion than other steels, which is why it is ideal for use in water features. When you first receive your Corten Steel products they will arrive in an un-weathered or partly weathered condition. Once placed outside the weathering process will begin. This process from 3 to 9 months depending on location and climate.

Tips on Installation and Maintenance

A lot of water features come pre-assembled for the most part, with just a little hose/pump connecting to do before plugging it in to a solar panel or mains socket. Some of our bigger ones require wiring in a plug (which might involve a Part P Certified electrician), but otherwise all instructions will be included.

If you've got any questions, why not check out our Installation Guide for tips on installation location, power and even style tips!

Corten is a type of steel that naturally weathers over time, developing an attractive and protective rust layer. This layer develops due to the elements active in the alloys of the steel which regenerates continuously when subjected to water & oxygen. Although to achieve the finished look the steel has rusted, the surface layer acts as a protective coating and reduces further corrosion. When you receive your corten steel product, it will appear silver - once exposed to the elements for at least 3 days, the rust layer will start to form to give the product it’s final rustic look.

Why Mains Power?

The traditional way to install a water feature is to connect it to your main power supply, although solar powered water features are a great option, there are also benefits to choosing a mains powered feature.

  • Main power is better to effectively run larger water features. These tend to have higher energy requirements, so a mains connection is required for reliable usage.

  • Mains powered water features allow for prolonged use. Solar panels only last as long as they have stored up power and will only work if there is good weather. Mains powered water features will work in any weather and in limited sunlight.
