Overview

A pink-purple, daisy-like flowering summer perennial with a yellow centre. Named after 'Christopher Lloyd', a charismatic gardener who loved experimenting with vibrant colour combinations in his garden at Great Dixter. This Gazania is certainly that - a pinkish-purple, daisy like flower and golden yellow centre with shiny green lanceolate leaves. Best suited to punchy displays in pots and containers.

Care guide

Pot up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can be planted outside in a well-prepared bed. Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and feed with a high-potash fertiliser at regular intervals throughout the summer.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
