Rid your garden of cats and other mammals with this garden repeller, complete with the new HyperResonance Frequency™ system. Designed to induce maximum discomfort, this system provides short varying bursts of ultrasound that shocks the animal, as opposed to other repellers that use a more gradual system. Animals are detected using the integrated PIR motion sensor, which ensures it is not activated by rustling foliage alone. Complete with a ground stake, this repeller can be positioned right where you need it most, at the perfect height to detect cats on the ground.

This unit has been designed using our considerable experience to be as effective as possible in repelling cats without the need of complicated dials. The unit covers such a wide variety of frequencies that adjustment dials are simply no longer needed, enabling us to provide you with the best, most user-friendly unit to date.

  • Rainproof - IP44 rated, making it suitable for outdoor use
  • Easy to use - simply add batteries, push into the ground, and position. No fiddly set-up required
  • HyperResonance Frequency™ - most effective frequency system to repel animals
  • Large cover area - affects ground up to 32ft away
  • Reliable PIR motion sensor - integrated into the repeller at just the right height
  • Detects and repels all-in-one method - no need for backup systems
  • Safe method of deterring pests - no need for dangerous traps or poisons
  • Easy to install - insert stake into soft ground or a plantpot

How does it work?
When a warm moving body is picked up by the PIR sensor, the repeller sends out a very loud noise at a frequency that cats can hear. It is too high for most humans to hear and is both annoying and frightening to the cats. It does not affect birds but is effective against dogs and foxes.

Easy to use
Unlike some products on the market, the set-up for this simply involves adding batteries and pushing the stake gently into the ground at the desired location. Designed using components that match quality with cost effectiveness to create a product that's effective but simple to use. There is nothing to set up, no settings to tweak - it's just 'plug and play'!

Why the motion sensor?
The cat repeller incorporates a sophisticated PIR motion sensor which turns the device on when a warm body enters the controlled area. This has an important purpose other than saving battery life: researchers have found that cats can become desensitised to the noise if they realise that random sounds are not associated directly with their presence in the controlled area. With the motion sensor, the cat learns to associate the noise with its own movement, and is much less likely to stop being afraid of the noise.

HRF - HyperResonance Frequency™

Cats have a better sense of hearing than dogs. Their upper range sits between 60-65kHz, which enables them to hear kittens, mice, and this repeller! The ultrasonic sound wave emitted has been carefully engineered to ensure the sound covers a frequency range which provides maximum resonance within the ear canal of a variety of cats with different levels of hearing.

(Hover over to see more detail)
HRF™ is designed to jump between frequency levels, which provides a short sharp shock throughout a cat's full hearing range, ensuring maximum effectiveness.

Other repellers in the market implement this gradual step approach, which is less shocking than HRF™ and tends to drain batteries easily.

(Hover over to see more detail)
Others in the market use this fluctuating frequency approach, which is less shocking than HRF™ and allows the animal to be prepared for the higher frequencies as it gets closer to their hearing range.

What area does it cover?
It covers a 128 degree arc, to a distance of up to 32ft (10m).

How quickly will it work?
If the cats have a habit of feeding and fouling in your garden, it can take 14-28 days to deliver the full deterrent effect. 'Occasional' visitors will usually be stopped within 7 days. Of course, as with all methods involving animal behaviour, we can’t guarantee effectiveness in every situation, however, our own experience and the feedback we get from customers suggests that this device is effective in almost all situations.
If you have a dog, it may affect the dog if it's allowed in the same part of the garden. The sound doesn't travel well through walls and fences, so it won't affect a dog in the house, or a neighbour's dog. If you need more advice on how to get the best out of the product, don’t hesitate to give us a call.

Will it affect birds?
Not at all - you'll be able to welcome the birds back to your garden.

Requires 3x AA batteries. Battery life depends on how many times the device is activated, but they typically last 3-4 months assuming 10 activations per day. This device uses less batteries than other repellers but lasts just as long. Batteries aren't supplied as standard, but we can supply (see options above)

Our Effectiveness Guarantee
If you're not satisfied with the performance of this product, return it to us within 45 days and, provided you've had it running for at least a month, we'll refund the cost of the item (less postage).

"I have been using these for around 1 month and they have made zero difference. I have tried using 1 and then both. I have moved them around to try targeting areas the cat poops in but the cat just finds a difference place to poop. I have even used the cat repellant powder I brought from primrose as well and that is equally ineffective. The problem is that the scarers don't seem to have a wide rader so the cat seems to be able to find spots out of their range. The only way I can see these working is if I had around 4-6 of them positioned to cover every angle in the garden? So my view is that they are totally ineffective and everyday without fail since using them the cat has pooped 1-2 times in my garden. So the £30-35 I paid for the 2 scarers and the 2 pots of powder has been money wasted and I'm hugely disappointed as I'm fed up with picking up cat poop everyday from my little garden!"

"Had the cat scarer running for 5 weeks now and whereas the flower bed in question was used as a toilet by the local cat population, it is now absolutely clear and clean of animal poo!! Very pleased with the results."

"The absence of garden damage could be due to the cats and foxes not visiting. We will have to try not setting the scarers on and risk the consequences."
