15 "Golden Gourmet" Shallot Sets
Originating from the Netherlands, the allium cepa "Golden Gourmet" shallot is an advancement from the traditional "Golden Yellow". The golden, brown skinned bulbs are larger and of better quality than their precursor, with a reduced incidence of bolting. The Golden Gourmet can be harvested as early as July, and can be stored throughout winter.

- Planting In Pots: You can grow your shallots in pots at least 8" (20cm) deep.
- Position: Plant in full sun for the very best results.
- Soil Types: Shallots can be planted in any type of soil.
- Soil Preparation: dig in plenty of compost or well-rotted manure before planting.
