Problem has completely gone away. (most likely to next door).Delivery was very quick and when my wife called with a question,
the gentleman was very helpful and polite." - Martin Filer

Where do I plug the Pestmagic in? Pretty much any socket in the house.

What are the features of the device?
The device uses three systems: Electromagnetic, Ultrasound and Ionic.
Electromagnetic: Pests occupying your house spend most of their time living in the walls, ceilings and floors, making them difficult to remove using conventional means. Whenever electricity passes through a wire, an electromagnetic field is created: the manufacturers believe that the particular fields created by this device create an environment that prevents pests via irritant and thus drives them out of your house.
Ultrasound: The ultrasound creates a loud noise at a high frequency that humans can't hear: imagine (if you're mouse or crawling insect) it's like having a smoke alarm going off constantly. Because ultrasound doesn't pass well through solid objects (that's why doctors can use ultrasound to get images of babies in the womb) this will be most effective in the room you plug it into to. Consequently, if you plug the device into the room where you've seen most activity, you're maximizing the effect of both control methods. Of course, as with all methods involving animal behaviour, we can’t guarantee effectiveness in every situation, however, our own experience and the feedback we get from customers suggests that this device is effective in almost all situations. If you need more advice on how to get the best out of the product, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
Ionic: The 4 in 1 is also an air ionizer - producing ions that clean the air local to the device and may help to remove dangerous bacteria from the air. Recent concerns over MRSA and other "super-bugs" have led the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK to do extensive research into the effect of negative ions on this area of hygiene.

What if I've got a bigger house than 2000sq ft? You can use our High Powered Pest repeller, or simply buy 2 of the '4 in 1' (remember, you only pay one carriage charge per order, regardless of how many items you buy). Using two devices will not 'cancel each other out'.

Is it really safe? It wont affect any electrical equipment like computers or burglar alarms.
It will also not affect cats, dogs, birds, reptiles or amphibia, children or babies. Of course, as with all methods involving animal behaviour, we can’t guarantee effectiveness in every situation, however, our own experience and the feedback we get from customers suggests that this device is effective in almost all situations. If you need more advice on how to get the best out of the product, don’t hesitate to give us a call.
The device may affect rodent pets such as gerbils, hamsters or chinchillas. If you do have such a pet, it's advisable to rehouse them while the device is switched on - either outside/in a shed (at least 2m away from any wiring connected to the house) or with a friend or neighbour.

"Seems to be working. This was a replacement for similer model that just stopped working one day, but the replacement arrived very quickly so I don't think the mice had chance to move back in."

Primrose says: "Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear this repeller did not meet your expectations. As ever with products designed to manipulate animal behaviour, it is difficult to know exactly how each animal will react. We recommend living with a repeller such as this for at least two weeks to allow it to take full effect. If you believe you have received a faulty product, please contact customer services who will be happy to assist you further."

"I still have a mouse ? It's not working!!"

Reviewed Monday, 17 April 2017

Primrose says: "Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with this mouse and rat repellent. It can sometimes take time for repellants to have their desired effect - for example, if the pests have had babies, they are unlikely to leave their young or attempt to uproot them from a warm environment. Please contact customer services for more information - they will be happy to help!"
