Talbot Dog Stone Statue
Talbot Dog Stone Statue

The Talbot dog is a now extinct hunting dog, which was said to be the greatest in the world. A relative of the modern day beagle, the Talbot was said to be a large, white animal that could bring down any quarry. With fine detailing and clean lines, this statue would make a lovely feature by the front door.

Features

  • Regal posture and bearing - grand and impressive to guests
  • Handmade by craftsmen from composite stone
  • Will develop an antique patina over time, as well as attracting moss and lichen
  • Accumulates value as it ages

This Talbot Dog Statue has been developed to mirror the sleek lines of the animal and help to echo the feel of a stately home. Handmade in the UK with care and attention, the composite stone construction will weather beautifully through time and exposure to outside conditions. It will also attract lichen and moss, which will give it a sense of history. Some items have been known to sell at auction houses for many times their value, due to the beauty this weathered look creates.
