The cast stone Gardener statue has been inspired by the engaging lead figure that once stood at Burton Agnes in Yorkshire. This rustic statue depicts an XVIII century gardener, in rustic period dress, resting on his spade. This statue is made using cast limestone with a surface texture similar to that of portland stone. In a number of important ways it is markedly superior, one of its greatest advantages being price, which, piece for piece, is normally significantly less than that of quarried stone. As well as for use in gardens, lawn, terraces, courtyards, borders and woodland, this statue can also be used in interior design schemes, in a hall, library, stairway or reception room.
