Caring and Maintenance:

This is a very low maintenance aquatic plant. Hydrocotyle Variegata can be propagated by division in spring or grown from seeds. All wandering stems may be cut to control plant growth.

Oxygenating plants grow from the bottom of ponds or water features. Their submerged leaves give off bubbles of oxygen, improving the water quality for fish and other pond life and maintaining the ecology balance of the the pond. These plants also absorb mineral salts from the water and reduce algae growth.

"Plug plant potted into a 9cm pot but roots had not spread from the initial plug"

Reviewed Monday, 4 May 2015

Answer from Primrose: "Thank you for your feedback. Plugs are transferred into 9cm pots close to dispatch, so that you do not need to pot on as soon as you receive the product. You should find that the roots spread in time."
