This cast stone statue represents the goddess of love and fertility. This stone statue of Venus is replicated from a late XIX century Italian white-marble sculpture. Venus is depicted with flowing locks, resting against a rocky promontory, a robe loosely draped around her body. This statue is made using cast limestone with a surface texture similar to that of portland stone. In a number of important ways it is markedly superior, one of its greatest advantages being price, which, piece for piece, is normally significantly less than that of quarried stone. As well as for use in gardens, lawn, terraces, courtyards, borders and woodland, this statue can also be used in interior design schemes, in a hall, library, stairway or reception room.
