Wind, Sun, and Rain Sensor Kit

This is a sensor and remote controlled unit for use with our electric awnings.

It will detect rain, wind levels, and excessive sun. The sensitivity settings can be simply tailored for your requirements.

It is very easy to fit - with our step-by-step guide. The awning will be retracted once the sensor detects your desired settings and you can simply adjust the settings on the side of the sensor with three main automatic options:

1) Wind Sensor
This will automatically retract the awning should it become too windy. This is really useful if you live in an area prone to windy conditions or if you have a large awning.

2) Sun Sensor
This sensor measures the intensity of the solar radiation. It will automatically extend the awning in sunny conditions protecting your carpet and soft furnishings whilst keeping the temperature at an acceptable level.

3) Rain Sensor
This sensor will automatically retract the awning should it rain heavily protecting your awning from getting soaked.

Of course, there are sensitivity controls on the unit for customising the behaviour, and there is a switch on the side to allow control of the unit in case you misplace your remote control.

Please Note: These accessories are for Primrose Awnings only, we cannot guarantee they will fit or work with any other awnings.

This sensor kit will not work with any awning with lights or wireless awnings such as U and V-Line awnings.
