Gooseberry Xenia 9cm Pot
This fabulous new Red Gooseberry is an up and coming star of the soft fruit world- It produces bumper crops of red fruit, already sweet enough to eat straight off the bush in Summer, or if you prefer, you can make into a sauce. It is virtually thorn free and grows upright which makes harvesting so much easier. Recently awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit for all of the above qualities, this come highly recommended from Primrose too!
N.B Xenia when young is as thorny as any gooseberry but as each bush matures it loses most of the thorns and so ends up virtually thornless.
