Overview

Offers a bright splash of colour all summer. Offering sumptuous colour all summer long, this trailing petunia looks wonderful when spilling over the edges of a pot or hanging basket. Alternatively, plant it at the front of the border and let the stems, each studded with rich, velvety red flowers, spread to form ground cover. Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 7 - 10cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). They are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting out in the garden once all chance of frost has passed. Please note: We grow these especially for you, so we request full payment when you place your order. See above for despatch dates for this particular plant. To ensure that your plants arrive in the best possible condition each pack will be despatched individually. Also, please be aware that the pot in the photograph is not sent out with the plants.

Care guide

Grow on under glass and plant out after all risk of frost has passed. Pinch out the growing tips to encourage bushier growth, and feed at regular intervals with a high-potash fertiliser throughout summer.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Large plugs are placed in a cardboard mold in groups of five. This is then placed inside a fitted box ready for transport.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
