Overview

Bright little jewels in spring. From March-April, intense blue daisy-like flowers appear, set above delicate ferny foliage. These gorgeous little wood anemones are perfect for naturalising in a mixed border, at the edge of a woodland area, or around the base of deciduous shrubs, where they shine out like jewels. For maximum impact plant in bold drifts, and if possible, team it with summer flowering perennials that will mask the foliage, which dies back soon after the flowers fade. A stunning little plant that lifts the spirits in spring.

Leave undisturbed and they will spread to form large drifts. Avoid excessive winter wet and apply a generous layer of mulch in autumn.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
