Overview

The foliage of this beautiful ground-covering perennial is almost entirely infused with silver, leaving only some of the veins and outermost edges of the leaves a rich green. This then makes it ideal for illuminating the woodland floor or partially shaded border edge - and just after the fresh batch of foliage appears each spring, it is almost immediately followed by sprays of rich, sky blue flowers. Try mixing it with ferns, spring flowering bulbs, and hostas for a naturalised effect.

Care guide

Remove the faded flower-heads after flowering. Lift and divide the plant every two or three years in late autumn.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
