Overview

Packed full of summer colour. Large, papery blooms with bright yellow centres in white, wine-red and bubblegum pink, appear non-stop throughout the summer and right up until the first frosts. Superb as border plants, 'Sonata Hot Pink Mixed' will also flourish in large pots - and their fine, feathery foliage is also attractive. Grown individually in cell trays, each plant measures about 4 - 6cm tall (from the base of the root to the top of the plant). They are ideal for keen gardeners who have a greenhouse where the plants can be grown on until they are ready for planting out in the garden once all chance of frost has passed. Please note that as we grow these for especially for you, we need to take full payment when you place your order so as to reserve stock for you. See above for despatch dates for this particular plant. To ensure that your plants arrive in the best possible condition each pack will be despatched individually.

Care guide

Pot up and grow on under glass until all risk of frost has passed and they can be planted outside in a well-prepared bed. Pinching out the growing tips will encourage them to become bushier, and taller plants may need supporting with brushwood stems in exposed positions.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Small plugs are arranged in a plastic tray in a cardboard box. Foam is used to secure the plugs from the bottom and the top.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
