Overview

Drought tolerant once established. The big, papery, white flowers, which appear from late spring, are flushed with yellow at their centre and look great against the grey-green foliage of this tough little evergreen shrub. Once established it becomes drought tolerant and it thrives in hot, sunny spots where little else will grow. It also copes well with salt laden wind so is a good choice for coastal gardens. In more favourable conditions, it is a very pretty, low-growing shrub, that works well as edging or filling a beautiful pot on the terrace. Garden Care: Prune in mid- to late summer after flowering, cutting back any straggly stems.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
