Plant description
Named in honour of the Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee, this exciting shrub has a very distinctive foliage colour. As they emerge in spring, the leaves are a rich salmon-orange, so these create quite a beautiful early show before they mature to green. In early summer, clusters of creamy flowers are held at the end of the branches and these are followed by burgundy fruit capsules. Very decorative, it makes an excellent addition to the mixed border.
