Can patio heaters be left in the rain?

Gas patio heaters can be left outside in wet conditions such as rain and snow. It’s unlikely that moisture will affect the burner device inside, but not impossible. 

It's therefore advisable that while it's safe to leave a gas patio heater outside, you invest in a good patio heater cover to make sure that you have no trouble starting it up next time you wish to use it.

Do outdoor heat lamps need covers?

When not in use, you should cover your outdoor heat lamp with a patio heater cover. This not only protects it from the elements but also prolongs the life of your patio heater by keeping the burner assembly free from dust and bugs.

Can I leave my electric patio heater outside?

You should avoid leaving any electric items outside, including electric patio heaters. Any kind of moisture inside an electric heater can be disastrous and unsafe, so make sure if you don’t have room to store yours away that you invest in a good, waterproof cover that can be sealed to prevent any rain, snow or water or any kind from getting inside the heater.
