Help your plants grow strong and beautifully with our elegant range of Plant Supports. From classic trellis panels and decorative obelisks to eye-catching garden arches, our supports offer both structure and style. Perfect for climbing plants, flowering vines, and tall blooms, they provide essential stability while enhancing your garden’s vertical appeal. Whether you’re creating a floral focal point or guiding growth, our plant supports combine practicality with charm.
Arches are traditionally used to mark the start of a new area in the garden, and often have an arched top. It customary for them to be made of trellises and latticework so the gardener can attach climbing plants. They are usually relatively small with the sides – named walls – one or two feet wide. Our Arbours differ from arches in that they are larger and have seating, and often best suited to the edges of the garden, although this is a matter of taste; they can just as easily be placed in the middle of the lawn area. Some of our Arbours are shipped without walls and we stock two frame materials: wood and metal. Canopies and Pergolas appear very similar as they are often square independent structures fixed to the ground. Canopies are distinctive in that they utilise cloth to block the sun and rain, and are sometimes attached to the house. Pergolas are usually used as a structure for plants to grow and form a canopy, but they can also be used to attach hanging baskets. They are often found in courtyards in Wine growing regions.
The more practical plant supports we stock include Trellises, Bamboo Canes, Conical Structures, Willow Canes and Posts. Trellises are commonly used as a structure for plants to grow as to decorate drab walls. Bamboo and Willow Canes are an essential tool for the horticulturalist and can be used to grow an array of plants, but are commonly used to grow tomatoes. Conical structures broadly come in two forms. The metal ones are perfect for shaping how your plants grow and thus are essential to actualising the borders that you have planned. The wooden ones are more ornamental but can be used as a structure to support crops. Finally, posts are perfect for enabling the nature screening and hedges that you have planned.
