Overview

Used to flavour, fish, lamb, new potatoes and peas. A particularly fine-flavoured variety of dill that's well known for its generous leaf production, selected to produce more foliage before running to seed than most. Dill provides a delicious flavouring to pickles or with vegetables, salads and other culinary dishes, and the pretty, feathery foliage looks at home anywhere in the garden, making a lovely foil to your flowers. If it is allowed to flower, then these can be eaten too and have a similar flavour to the leaves.

Care guide

Choose a well-drained, sunny spot and avoid ground likely to become overly wet during the winter. Plants may need additional support from canes. An occasional general-purpose liquid fertiliser can give plant a boost. Plants can 'bolt' and quickly run to flower if not kept watered during hot weather.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
