Overview

Frothy sprays of pure white. A great groundcovering plant for cool spots in the garden. In early spring it sends up sprays of delightfully elegant, pure white flowers. These rise on narrow stems, which grow taller as the heart-shaped, dark green leaves emerge, so they never get smothered. If you are lucky and the plant is thriving, you may get a second flush of flowers in late summer. The foliage forms good clumps throughout the warmer months, which is great for softening the edge of paths, or mixing in with other shade-loving plants such as ferns or hostas. It is more tolerant of sun than the variegated varieties, but only if it is kept cool with reliable moisture.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
