Overview

Great for naturalised planting schemes. Big, blowsy heads of elegant flowers are the star feature of this plant. They emerge above mounds of dark green fern-like, semi-evergreen foliage in mid summer and last well into autumn. These gorgeous flowers act as a beacon to beneficial insects and are great in cut or dried flower arrangements. Very popular with all the top designers now, this relatively new introduction to the UK is bang on trend.

Care guide

Apply a generous mulch around the base of the plant in autumn and snip off the flowerheads before they set seed if you don't want more plants in spring.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
