Overview

Clusters of small, sweetly scented, deep pink buds open in January and February and are followed by rounded, purple-black berries. This choice semi-evergreen shrub thrives in a sunny, sheltered position. This plant is very hard to propagate and slow growing, but well worth the patience and investment. Try it in a mixed or winter border or next to a path where its fragrance can be appreciated. Strongly upright in habit, it looks wonderful under-planted with a carpet of magenta or white Cyclamen coum.

Keep pruning to a minimum since the plant is very susceptible to die-back. Where necessary after flowering, lightly trim back to remove misplaced branches and maintain a compact habit.

How your order will arrive

Pots and Packaging
Larger pots (2L and above) are wrapped in waxed paper and then attached to a cardboard base so they stay stable in the box. The waxed paper prevents the compost from spilling out and gives the base some added protection from damp compost. For large numbers of plants, pallets may be used for shipping.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.
