Overview

Fuchsia Suitable for sheltered borders or pots. Frilly-looking red and purple flowers that open from rounded red buds, seem to drip from the stems of this bushy fuchsia all the way throughout the summer. An excellent addition to the front of a mixed border, it will also flourish in a pot.

Care guide

To encourage growth, pinch out the growing tips of young fuchsias after the sixth or seventh pair of leaves. During the growing season water regularly, applying a balanced liquid fertiliser each month. Cut back to the permanent framework in early spring. Protect the roots with a generous layer of mulch in autumn, or move potted plants to a sheltered position in the garden during the worst of the winter weather.

Pots and Packaging
Our 9cm pots are given extra packaging to protect the plant. This extra packaging consists of a recyclable plastic blister pack which is then placed in a cardboard box for delivery.

Preparation
The nursery will ensure the plant is moist while it's waiting to be picked up. Our quality control team waters the plant before packing them where necessary to make sure that the plant is suitably watered for transport. Plants with long delicate stems are secured with canes to prevent damage.

Typically plants are delivered ready to plant and will take some time to settle, grow and look more like the product image above.
