Overview

In shades of intense red and purple the large, double flowers (up to 7cm or 3") have a subtle, silky appearance. Fuchsia 'Voodoo' makes a spectacular addition to summer displays and is an outstanding choice for hanging baskets with its naturally trailing stems that can reach 35cm (14€?). Plant either by themselves or combined with other trailing plants like Chaenostoma (syn. Bacopa) or Verbena for a brilliant summer display.

    Care guide

  • Garden care: For the best results, protect from cold, drying winds. To produce bushy, well-branched plants pinch out the growing tips of young plants after the sixth or seventh pair of leaves. During the growing season water regularly, applying a balanced liquid fertiliser each month. Cut back to the permanent framework in early spring. In autumn, it is advisable to mulch the roots with a thick layer of well-rotted compost.
